Emperor é uma banda Norueguesa de black metal formada em 1991. O grupo foi fundado pelo guitarrista Samoth e pelo guitarrista/vocalista Ihsahn. A banda acabou em 2001 e foi reativada entre 2005 e 2007.
In The Nightside Eclipse é um disco lançado em 1994 pela distribuidora Candlelight Records. Em seu encarte, há uma mensagem em memória de Euronymous, assassinado em 1993.
